I completely agree. I figure my i5 3570k at 4.4 GHz is equivalent to the listed 4C 3.6 GHz CPU.
I can't justify a platform upgrade for a 10% performance improvement in games.
In games you'll leave about 10-15% on the table with a 1070. Considering the cost of a CPU, mobo and RAM, it's hard to recommend moving up to a new platform at this time.
I have found that if you still have one unread message it keeps all the notifications on the lock screen/notification screen. If I mark all as read on my PC the notifications disappear on my phone.
300-400 per card, so figure between 7950 and 290 performance. However, remember the power cost, the 69xx series were quite hungry, and from what I remember of my non-ref twin fan 6970, it got very loud mining LTC.
If using high intensity you may need to reboot inbetween gaming and mining, or let the PC "settle" for a while.
Using intensity of 13 on my 7950s and I have no issue, 19 (ie: overnight) and BF3 used to crash when I'd launch it immediately after mining.
Funny thing is I get 600 kh/s per card...
I must say the Double XP week and weekend have been good for me. I've been stacking the double xp with 200% and 100% boosts. Each ribbon nets you 1200 pts with 200%, so you just play locker and drop ammo or health at choke points.
I've gone up 30 ranks thanks to the double xp, it's been pretty...
Had an epic round tonight. I stacked a 100% XP boost on top of the double XP. Played Support on the new China Rising map in the forest with the caves.
161000 pts.
PS: the caves are awesome for claymores.
ACE 52 CQB with supressor, laser sight, Coyote RDS and vertical grip is my go to weapon. ACE with the same setup for Medic. On Locker I'll play with a shotgun with a modified choke and Coyote.
KDR has been 2:1-3:1 for the past week.
