Perhaps some of you guys can help me out. I've been trying to OC my neo4-f, but it's giving me REALLY crappy results. The furthest I can get primed is about 2.45 ghz. After seeing some of the results you guys had, I'm pretty damn jealous that I can't push mine as far. I've got a 3200+...

Oops sorry for that post. Anyways I just bought a new stick of 1gb ram, PC3200 400mhz. I put it in beside my two sticks of 512 dual channel, but now everything is running in single channel! Can I get the 512 to run in dual channel? Do I need to?

Just file -> load bios file -> update bios, and then tell it to update. then reboot :D

I fixed it! I flashed to 1.71b (you can find it in this topic) and now it works fine! yay! If you're worried about flashing, use winflash, as it'll do it from the windows environment. Enjoy your newfound speed.

Need help with new motherboard performance!

Okay, I think I've figured out the problem. It seems my cpu multiplier resets to 5x when it enters windows, even though I've set it at 9x Help?

I was just checking the bios settings, and they look all good. CPU Multi set to 9x, the FSB is at 200, which is underclocking it. But when I boot into windows and I look at everest, it tells me that my cpu multiplier is 5x, not 9x. And my cpu is clocked at 1000 mhz. This must be where its...

I'm getting the same thing as you brikis. It's quite frustrating. Do you have everest on your computer? When I go into everest, it reads the cpu multiplier as 5x, even though its clearly 9x in the bios? This might be causing my underclock. thanks

So I recently updated my defective (chipset fan broke) a8v-e deluxe mobo (via chipset) with an msi k8n neo4-f motherboard (nforce4 chipset). I used to be able to get ~60 fps on high detail with battlefield 1942: forgotten hope mod. Now with the upgrade, I average about 50 with some details...
