Monitor goes fuzzy after a while - monitor or v.card?

Using a Sony G400 that's maybe 2 years old with a Radeon 8500. 1280x1024 @ 90mhz refresh. Things have been fine until recently. I've noticed that sometimes the text gets a little fuzzy on my screen. Turning monitor off and on does nothing. Unplugging then replugging monitor does nothing...

Price for Radeon 9700? Available this month!

An article on another website mentioned that the Radeon 9700 is going to be on sale later this month. I can't find any information on prices. I am assuming that it should be around $350. Anybody know?

New system will not post - paypal $15 reward for fix

Thanks guys, I am going to give these a shot. Yes, the fans are working, the board is getting power. The HD and FDD are all starting up properly upon boot, it just won't POST. I will stick by my word and paypal as soon as I find out what this is.

Cheapest place to buy CD-Rs?

I'm having a hell of a time finding a good deal on CDR spindles. I used to be able to pick up 50 80 minute CD-Rs for $15.....now it seems the price has doubled around here. Are there any online stores that have killer deals?

I installed XP onto a new HD. My Win2k installation is still on my old HD with all my user settings, etc. I desperately need to get to my old saved e-mails and such on that D: drive to copy them over to my XP install on C:. I can browse D: just fine but have no idea where my old email folders...

Thermal glue...can it be bought locally? Radio shack?

Ok, the sticker is thermal adhesive....how do I remove that correctly then add the thermal grease? Is it worth the effort to replace the adhesive with the grease???

I just had a mobo combo shipped to me. DESPITE my request that they mount the fan to the CPU, they shipped them seperately. It's a WBK 38. I've never put a fan on a CPU before and I'm a bit nervous. The fan has this little odd-looking removable sticker on the bottom....is that some built-in...

STOP PAYING MICROSOFT $10 FOR XP!!!!!!

Hmm. I'd love to see exactly how letting people beta test RC1 for free will HURT Microsoft. It only helps to accelerate the evolution and understanding of this product. I'm not promoting piracy, but I tire of hearing people threatning the original poster. Grow up.

Why did Creative Labs get out of the market?

I loved their cards. They were high quality, cheap, and almost always the fastest of their generation. Most importantly, they were a solid company whom you know would stand behind their product. Now all we're left with companies like.....Elsa, Gainward, Visiontek. I'm sorry, but I don't think...

How much RAM are you using in WinXP?
