MoBo recommendation...please? :-)

Hey all, I was thinking about upgrading to an AMD XP but I am not sure which mobo to buy. If anyone has any suggestions, I would prefer that it DOES NOT USE DDR RAM because I have tons of SDRAM I wanna use...you know, don't feel like spedning even more money. Thanks for the help, dejo

MSI K7T PRO 2A question

Hello, I have an MSI K7T PRO 2A motherboard and I was wondering if I installed the latest bios if it could support an AMD XP1700. I have been looking everywhere for this information and I can't find it anywhere. Please Help, DeJo

Help me decide please

Yes I definetly agree on buying cheap and modding yourself It can be very expensive to ship to other people and have them modded. I also agree with the choice on the second case. It's layout is good and should be a fun project. dejo

also try Plycon or sofisticated software for screws and crap sometimes they have a special on bag - o - parts or something and ,more than likely they sell seperate screws as well (Plycon more likely) dejo

Please recommend "quiet"

panaflo is definetly the way however, look around on plycon and 2cool for other possibly generic fans and check their readout for dbA. You never know what you might find :D dejo
