Random hard lockups - I give up!

I've managed to get my hands on a P4 550, with which I'll be testing. I'll post my results when done. Also - still open to suggestions! Please let me know of any ideas.

No RAID; at the moment, I am only using a single hard disk. In the meantime, I am seeking a replacement CPU with which I can test this.

My first TV Tuner [Winfast DV2000] experience: not so good

The drivers from Windows Update give me basic audio functionality which I am happy with for the most part. I am forced to install the proper audio drivers because I otherwise get no sound from the TV Tuner program, but by doing so, I completely lose my picture. ;( Other video-related stuff works...

Problem with anandtech and IE

I get this error every time I try to read any articles or news... and the 'quick fix' method of pressing stop hardly works, because I get the error message before any text comes up. =(

I'm pretty sure that I have, since I applied the paste and the GPU and memory are making good contact with the copper plate. But even if I had installed it incorrectly, why would the temps be going down isntead of up when running graphic-intensive apps? It should be the other way around...

Hey guys i've tried LOADS on my 6800gt but still problems...

It could be the BIOS of your video card. For some reason, many GeForce 6800 series cards seem to have a screwed-up BIOS (messed up 2D and 3D clocks, to be more precise). I had a similar problem like yours with my GeForce 6800 Ultra, but flashing the BIOS to an updated version fixed it, once and...

Thanks for the reply. But, what I am looking for is some program which can 'diagnose' video cards. I already have 3DMark03 and 3DMark05, and I use them for benchmarking.
