That's a pretty damned glib comment IMHO ;) I ordered mine from Multiwave for the "low" price of $309 on Monday night at about 11pm PST. Got it yesterday at 4pm or thereabouts paying $6.60 or so for 2day shipping (useless since I'm 45 miles away, but it was only $0.60 more than ground)...

Opteron 165 0547 from Multiwave

I just got mine yesterday just one day after I ordered it (yay for FedEx 2day when you're 45 miles away) ;) I haven't had even a spare moment to do more than stare at it in awe, but the fact remains that Multiwave has 'em in stock for $309 and the one I got is from the almost fabled week 47...

Older memory and Opteron 165 Overclocking

Asus A8N SLI Premium Memory Problem

Because I'm using a hardware RAID5 card, not the anemic style found onboard ;) I'm starting to think you may be onto something, especially in light of the fact that it seems to keep defaulting the RAID card as my "SCSI0" device and the actual SCSI card as "SCSI1".

They're all off. Loose timings? The only change I've done so far is the DDR voltage boost, but obviously that was of no use. No SATA and no IDE except the CDR (and that's temporary as I'm going to put it in an external enclosure if I ever get this installed). Here goes the complete...

I don't know the quality of paper that Costco uses, but they charge $0.19 for 4x6 and $1 for 8x11 (iirc on the latter). And I believe that Walmart has relatively low prices as well.

Hmm... there is a shim preinstalled, but I don't know if it's realistically removable. Then again, since I'm not even using the waterblock this time around, that's probably not the issue.

P4C800 + SX6000 = $3000 load of crap

Well, it's nice to know I'm not alone... I've been litterally going through the ringer with a SX6000 and an A7N8X Deluxe board! If I boot the system with the SX6000 plugged in , but wth no drives attached, my system boots just fine. Granted I never see the SX6000 BIOS nor any visual...

Well, thus I said "officially" :) I'll grant you that this being an OEM addon is a bit troubling, but then again it's not as if I haven't taken advantage of unofficial FSB... I have very fond memories of my ASUS P2T4 (?) and 75/83 mhz FSB :)
