There's been a profile for it for several weeks, perhaps Ryan Smith didn't get the memo?

H.264 in Flash 10.1 won't work with a 2600 Pro.
Per adobe:
AMD/ATI hardware decoding of H.264 video in Flash Player 10.1 is supported on AMD/ATI products with UVD2 with the ATI Catalyst™ Software Suite, starting with version 9.11 for the ATI Radeon™ family of products, and driver...
Margin will be the same as what they currently get for a CPU. Yes, cost would be lower but so would revenue because they aren't selling a GPU anymore. Net result is less revenue and profit.
Would it be better if I put it in a giant font size for you?
That makes no sense. Even assuming they sell more to OEMs...
Today they would sell something like this in the mainstream PC segment:
1 CPU + 1 chipset + 1 mainstream discrete card
or for an intel-based system just 1 discrete card
Post-Fusion/Sandy Bridge they'll be selling:
1 CPU +...
Ironically, shrinking the discrete market hurts AMD as well. They're just cannibalizing their mainstream GPUs with Fusion. Now if they'd gotten Fusion out the door quicker, that might have helped them take CPU share from Intel, but Intel looks to have made some decent strides with SB so you're...
2 ASUS models, 2 Toshiba models and a bunch of Clevo variants all have 120hz LCDs in a notebook form factor.
And they're up to 4+ models/mfr's for 120hz LCD's for desktops at 1080p.
Don't believe me - check for yourself at http://www.nvidia.com/object/3d-vision-requirements.html
So a $2,000 premium may actually get you a better monitor? While it isn't the case 100% of the time, I would hope so. Hardly an "Aha!" moment. There's a reason true "pro" monitors have "pro" prices.
That being said, don't put too much stock in factory calibration. If you're serious about...
Got mine in the mail today too. Very easy to use and was pretty shocked how cold (blue) the default settings were. Definitely a good investment for any Adobe CS user or Photog...
2x Blu-ray drives are all you need for 3D media along with a 3D capable sw player like Cyberlink PowerDVD 10 Ultra, so you're probably good with a decent drive that's out now.
Got a card in the mail yesterday too. Never got a check though. Probably because I didn't buy the BBA card directly from ATI.
Took long enough - been at least a year since I sent in the claim form.
