Not that I know of. My current 15/2 has been thoroughly abused without incident.
And as far as TOS goes, I'll take the risk. You give a civilian a tank, you're going to have problems whether or not you tell him not to drive it. :)
Of course I have to use it! Think of all the bandwidth-starved children in Africa! ;) I have indeed thought about remote rsync ... hd webcam is an interesting idea but would be boring as hell to watch. The 2nd link in my original post is the guarantee to stay out of legal trouble while...
I just discovered that Verizon has a 20/20 fios option at my address, so naturally I upgraded without having the slightest idea what I'm going to do with all of that upstream bandwidth. Anybody have a suggestion? Currently I'm thinking about...
For the foreseeable future, I'm SOL. The blog has all of the details on the whole process. Suffice to say if I ever get an iPhone out of them from this order it'll likely be long after the 3g release.
But The fact remains that a customer service rep told me that shipment *was* the iPhone, that the shipment was listed as weighing 2 pounds on DHL's tracking info, and that as of now the phone itself still hasn't shipped. Our dev team is trying to get a phone to test our app on actual 2.0...
I have been pulling my hair out dealing with AT&T this past week. I started a blog to try to publicize their antics. Depending on who you are and how close you are to the situation, it's either entertaining, sad, or extraordinarily frustrating. Give it a read and see what you think...
I'm going to feel like an idiot if this is the root of my problem, but I noticed a review of the board on Newegg that stated that the default voltage for RAM on the board is 1.8v. Can anybody confirm this? If so, I'm running my RAM undervolted by 0.3v which could very well be what's causing...
PCI-E is set firmly at 100MHz. One of my dislikes with the DS3 is that it wants to set too much automatically. No thanks.
I get a blue screen either straight out of the gate or right after the splash screen using 4-4-4-12 timings with default CPU settings when I'm using both sticks. I can...
Here's my setup:
Intel Core2 Duo E4300
Gigabyte GA-965P-DS3
Corsair XMS2 2 x 1GB DDR2 800 (4-4-4-12)
Using either one of the DIMMs individually, I can get the system to 3.0GHz @ 1.4v without a problem. When I put both sticks of RAM in (whether in dual channel mode or in slots 1 and 3)...
Every time I go into the bios using the onboard DVI for video, the display goes into this weird pattern. The screen will flicker a few times with horizontal and vertical lines over the image, then a copy of the screen image will scroll up from the bottom over the original then back down. That...
So I had an ATI tech support rep tell me that some X300's "just don't support" multiple displays. Odd considering there's a secondary display adapter in Device Manager. I'm not convinced ... anybody have any suggestions? Maybe there's a different firmware version I could flash the card to...
Ok I feel like an idiot for having to ask about this, but I just can't get the darn thing to work!
I cannot get the secondary display on my PCI Express Radeon X300 to detect my second monitor. I am using a Samsung SyncMaster 710N on VGA for the primary display and am attempting to use a Dell...
I think that's probably the way I'll go. I would use an AT power supply, but I'm having a hard time finding one with a high enough power rating. I'm going to need a good 400+ watts to safely run 9 cdrw's, 1 cd-rom, 1 hard drive, and the controller.
