Is it possible to design an Americans "Peoples Car" ie 9K or under?

Without all of the safety standards stuff it would be feasible to sell a brand new car in the Hyundai Accent category for below $9000 msrp. Being allowed to skip on all of the required safety tech will probably not happen however.

A typical middle class person could do the job of the typical 1%er. You could give an uneducated illegal a suit, a Bentley, and as long as he could speak English he could do any 1%er's job.

How future proof are the current Android flagship phones?

We hit a huge diminishing returns point a while back. Pretty much any phone from the Nexus 4 era or newer is going to last a long time. A flagship one from today will probably be useful until the battery dies.

Should you be compensated for the GTX 970 issues and spec changes?

If someone bought a car advertised with a V8 engine and then got home and saw it had a V6 under the hood you better believe they'd be pissed even if it was just as fast as advertised.

Off the top of my the Accord has a nicer interior, a smoother and quieter ride, it retains value better, and you can give it wide open throttle every single day and it would still need maintenance less often than a leisurely driven Mustang. Those are the primary reasons I would choose an Accord...

Mustang fanboy spotted. The Accord V6 does a lot of things better than a Mustang. Quarter mile isn't the only metric that determines a car's value.

You're reaching pretty far to suggest that a car has to be RWD to be fun to drive. If all else is exactly the same sure RWD is better but it is hardly the deciding factor.
