Looking for Video card suggestion

I play some games and would like to upgrade to DVI. I am looking to spend $170 or so. Should I look at ATI, or Nvidia, and which card? Thanks, -Paul

Odd problem downloading files

I just re-installed windows XP, and now whenever I download a file off of the internet or on Kazaa/iMesh, it has errors in it, if it is a Zip file, it has CRC errors, if ti is an executable, it just says that there is somthing wrong with it. It usually takes several tries to get somthing...

Odd Problem with all of my video files

More research... I downloaded a video file from the net, and it is a no-go as well. It seems like all video files have stopped working, avi, mpg, wmf, mov. Please Help!!! Thanks!

Epson Perfection 1650 Photo in Windows XP

I have to re-install the driver every time I reboot into windows. I am not sure why this happens, buit it works fine after I re-install the driver. Has anyone else had this problem? Thanks, Paul Hilgeman

Convenient Low Level Format Utility?

Alright, will do. I have some software that detects "Already installed" unless I do somthing more than FIDSK and FDISK /MBR Thanks guys, I'll just stick with waht the manufacturer says. Paul

Convenient Low Level Format Utility?

I need to Low Level Format a few drives, and I was wondering if there is any easier way than downloading all fo the manufacturer's utilities to do this, maybe there is an easy little windows program that can do it. Thanks, Paul

Quadro 4 750XGL/900XGL vs. GF4 4600

SoftQuadro on GeForce 3 in windows XP???

Anyone know when the Shuttle SS40 will be available?

I was wondering when suppliers will get this in, it looks to be a great little machine, and since my computer just broke down, I am in the market. Let me know if you have heard anything. I may be tempted to just get the SS50 if it is too long. Thanks, Paul

Windows XP parameter passing error in Lsass.exe on bootup

Yeah, I looked for anything I could on it... nothing at all. I think my drive has some issues where it cant boot from CD, it is an older 12x. It checks and then just continues to boot from C: Thanks for the help though Paul
