Memory on Abit BH-6 Help!!!

I have this board too and according to the BH6 Manual the maximum amount of ram is 768 MB (three 256MB sticks). Why the discrepancy? _ben

Combination of SCSI and IDE stuff, how would you set this computer up?

I have a combination of SCSI and IDE. The problem I ran into is running out of IRQs. Even though windows has IRQ sharing some devices just don't want to share, ie. my video capture card and my Hollywood Plus DVD decoder. I had to free up some IRQs by disabling anything that I didn't need, so...

tcp/ip stack in win98se

Do you set your IP, DNS, Gateway etc or is it assigned by DHCP? The reason I ask is that I had the same problem once and it turned out that more than one computer was using the same IP. Like your situation things would be working fine. I could surf, I could check email and then all of the...

floppy problem

You mentioned you tried 4 different drives and flipped the cable around, but have you tried other floppy cables? You probaly already did this, but it is simple enough to overlook. -Ben

Identifying RAM

Hello Everyone, I have a lot of old SIMMs hanging around, and I don't remember if they are EDO or FP let alone the size of each of them. Is there a site that has a listing of the chip part numbers so I can identify them. Thanks Ben

Buying Refurbished Monitors...
