Oh nice, reading your post & looking at the BIOS string of my board, it seems it supports Quad-Core CPUs. Needless to say, I'm quite happy. :) ps. board revision is D41694-208.

Thoroughbred to Require 45 Amps

Isn't the 45amps requirement only for the 2200+ ? The lower speed grades are supposed to work with current PSUs.

ANTEC Server Model SX1040B Black

<< I just built my 1st system with that case except in white. Very easy to use, staight foreward, and the only problem I had was the wiring harness on the PS. I didn't know were all the connectors went, a short trip to their webpage solved that with a wiring diagram. Oh, John... I believe that...

Soltek SL75DRV-4 Preview (KT266A w/new 233A Southbridge with native ATA133 support)

Does anyone know if the new souhtbridge fixes some of PCI issues ? Since it's only a preview, there's nothing about HDD performance.

Have you tryed asking at the MSI forums ?? MSI Official Site I noticed users are having quite a bunch of problems with that card.

How are the new 23.11 Dets

Stay away from them if you use Win2K (SP2). I've went back to 21.85 because Win2K would crash at least once an hour with them. I've tryed the VIA Latency patch hoping it would fix it but it didn't.:(

According to THIS SITE, when you try to run two AthlonXP's on a 760MPX Board you get this message --> AMD XP CPU detected - forcing single CPU mode According to ASUS, it was imposed by AMD.

<< a lot of high quality pc2100 hits 266mhz no prob...as well as even the corsair pc2400 modules. >> PC2100 is supposed to run @ 266. Unless it's really 266DDR which would be 533MHZ.:Q

does the EPOX 8KHA+ only support up to pc2100?

Can the EPOX 8KHA+ run with asynchronous bus speeds (FSB / DIMM) ? It would be nice if it could do 133 FSB / 166 DIMM.:)

How big of a difference will I see?

You'll definitly see a difference in games such as Max Payne that are very intensive on the graphics card. On the 2D side of things, you shouldn't expect much.

Next Kyro to have programmable vertex and pixel shaders ?

I saw the info here --> PowerVR Revolution. They say that it will have support for shaders, maybe that means that it'll be done in software a bit like TnL is done with the Kyro 1 & 2.
