Computer will not power on for the life of me

I'll try that, but I'm pretty sure I did that with both sticks. Could it be possible that both are bad?

Computer will not power on for the life of me

I've tried that too, and I've tried the psu on two other computers and it powers them up. I'm not sure what else is left to check.

What graphics card for HTPC and old system?

I'm getting a 42" 1080p LCD soon and I want to be able to use my computer as an HD HTPC. I'm wondering if I can just upgrade to a newer graphics card and keep the rest of my system as is. I currently have: Asus A8N-E mobo AMD 3700 oc to 2.7ghz 2gb samsung ram evga 7900gt oc'd 600watt...

3 out of 4 computers work with home network, why won't the 4th?

It is added to the workgroup, not a wireless network. I disabled windows firewall, and it is allowed on my software firewall. I'm not sure how to go about pinging the other computers or the router, how do I go about this? Thanks

3 out of 4 computers work with home network, why won't the 4th?

I have 4 computers networked here at home. All running Win XP Pro. 3 of them have no problem accessing each other, sharing the files and printer. One cannot use the printer, share anything, or be accessed by any of the other 3. Does anyone know why this is? How can I solve this problem...

Zalman VF900

I was making the decision between gettin the vf-700 for my 7900gt or spending the extra cash and getting the vf-900. I sprung for the 900 and I'm more than happy. I have it o/c'd but not volt modded yet, but i'm running 33 on idle and it only hits 46 on load, all this with the fan only running...

Amd Athlon 64 3700+ San Diego

I have my 3700+ running at 2.75 prime stable @ 1.5v with an AC freezer 64 pro. Idle temps are 30, and it loads at 40. I got into windows at over 2.8, but failed prime, so I may still mess around with it some more.

DVD Burning Problem

Hi, I'm having a problem when I burn DVD's. I'm using an LG 4167B with nero 7 premium. Now sometimes burnings works, but lately I've been getting an error message. It seems to burn the whole dvd, but when it's closing out the dvd, it says that the disc failed. Any ideas why this...

AMD64 3200+ still a good cpu for gaming?

I'm very happy with my 3200+ right now. It's at 2.66 paired with a 7900gt and it definately gets the job done. For the price and o/c ability, it's still a great chip.

7900gt fan won't quiet down

The heatsinks properly installed on the card, the temp is not the prob, it's idling at 40 degrees. Just so damn loud...lol

Video Choppy In Media Player

I've been watching movies from my harddriver in windows media player and every little while the video gets choppy and the frames almost stop, then resumes normal playback. Any ideas as to why this is happening? I'm running a 7900gt with 84.21 forceware drivers. Thanks

7900gt fan won't quiet down

The vf900 is definately what Im thinking of getting. But it's not out for purchase yet in canada, at least I can't find it. NCIX.com has it for pre-order only. I guess I'll deal with this annoying fan for now. Thanks for the help
