6600gt slower than 9800xt?

thanks all =). I "upgraded" to the xfx 6600gt for the dual DVI feature to run my monitors and with them being 20" and 21", I'd like them to run 1600x1200 if possible so im looking at the 6800gt but it might not be worth it =(

Need good LCD monitor

I have a Dell 2001fp and a Samsung 213T and DVI does make a big difference in clarity. Even on the 1800fp I upgraded from, i could tell the VGA wasn't as sharp.

its actually world of warcraft, i just checked and my 3dmark isnt too bad, maybe its the high res that kills the card as Duster said

Hey all, I just went from a 9800xt to a 6600gt and noticed that the 6600gt is nowhere near the performance of the 9800xt. Whereas the 9800xt was able to run WoW at 1600x1200 perfectly, the 6600 has trouble with it. I just ran a 3DMark03 test at default settings and it came out with 7566. My...
