Skyrim Official Specs

We've seen the initial screenshots, video's, etc... and they look solid. So I'm more optimistic than not. I do agree, though it's a little odd but as rigs get more and and more powerful they have more options for how to deliver the data to you.

Thinking about getting a kinect, interested in Dance Central

I have a 5yr old so the Kinect is completely worth it. She loves Kinectimals (even I admit it's a pretty fun game), and this other game where she can play with a pet using augmented reality by seeing the living room on the screen, and interacting with the imposed pet. Pretty neat overall...

Why aren't MMOs bigger on consoles?

The other thing to consider is patching. It's a much bigger, and annoying, deal to push out updates, fixes, etc, on consoles. On the PC they can drop new content into the launcher on a whim. New content, fixes, balance things, etc. On the console they'd have to submit it for QA approval...
