I assumed it was a Windows 7 issue but I have it installed on my other Hard drive with Vista x64 and it works just fine. I installed a fresh copy over Windows 7 on my new hard drive and encountered the same issue. Would it be possible for the hard drive to cause this issue? I'm not sure but...

The tests I ran were the memory tests built into Window 7 and also a standard chkdsk. They both returned good results. I have yet to try memtest but it's going to be in the future for sure, my time to sit on this has become limited as of late. I've also looked in the event viewer and...

Vista sleep mode killed my OC

Ok, finally passed out at 3 a.m. last night but still can't stand it. I got my GTX 280 in yesterday, installed it, and slapped on a fresh copy of Vista x64. Everything was going great. I played a few hours of games, installed some utilities, everything was fine... My CPU has been overclocked...

nVidia GT200 Series Review Thread

I'm really looking forward to it. I thought about trying to swap out my X38 for an SLI board but there isn't any way I'll be able to buy a second card for a long long time. I didn't have good luck when I tried Crossfire before anyways so I'll just stick to my overpowered single card solutions.

Crossfire, WoW, and Netflix

I've tried all these solutions and more now with still no relief. I hate to but I'm jumping back to my greener Nvidia pastures. I gave them a good try and hoped they had worked but can't take it anymore. Thanks for all the help and advice. Maybe I'll give ATI another shot some other time.

My upgrade hit right before the 2.4 patch. My problems are everywhere honestly. The only place I don't see the issue is in the arenas and small instances. Wide open zones are the worst and I've tried turning down the rendering distance but that didn't change anything. My FPS are all over the...

Crossfire, WoW, and Netflix

I tried disabling Crossfire but didn't see any change. Could I have some options set incorrectly? When I disable Crossfire, should I actually disable the second card all together? I'm totally new to multicard setups.
