hp 10" netbook, no ssd!!!! $137

Granted I don't have this exact model laptop, but I do have a 1035nr, and if this model is anything like the one I do have it needs a 1.8in lif hard drive. Those are really strange to come by, and I haven't found them to be reasonably near the price of normal 2.5in drives. Warning for those...

If you were a drain on society, would you feel bad about it?

I beat it by blowing off the treads, then unscrewing the bolts.. then making the bulldozer ram into the left scaffolding again and the driver falls out killing himself.

Any former Mac users here?

I started off with a mac in the 8.x era, then went to windows 95. I wasn't a fan of either, they were just "there". Currently I have a macbook that I use for work related mac testing, but outside of that I don't really use it. At home I use Vista for gaming and general whatever on my desktop, XP...

I'm about to embark on an adventurous quest never before experienced in my young and geeky life.

I've done solder jobs on laptops similar to what you're describing a number of times. Usually just reheating the existing solder is enough to get the connection to rehold. Heat to the point where the solder is shiny, then pull away gently so you don't splash solder someplace strange. However...

Would you be embarassed to eat at McDonalds?

Over time I realized that for the same amount of money I could by something else that tasted better. The only compromise was that I had to be willing to wait a bit longer for my food to get to me.

Will the new 60gb 360s be the Jasper version?

For myself, I more concerned with the heat output of the 360. I've been holding off on buying one till the Jasper revision came. I'd hope the process shrink would help with the heat problem, and in turn the rrod problem.
