9800GTX single + 3 way SLI

That's got to be an immature driver issue. Hell I could get that score with my current gtx's. and a 4.5ghz overclock. (Damn I just can't get my 9650 that high- anyone got a phase change they want to loan me? LOL)

You talk about getting ony getting 3fps more well it's quite documented that with the higher end cards that there are cpu bottlenecks. This goes even with high end overclocked cpu's. When was the last time you heard of a gpu bottleneck? I will agree with you that when the competition is heavy...

no the cab cleaner really shouldn't affect it. Did you uninstal ati-tools as well? If you didn't then try that, then use DC, then re-install dirvers. Other than that it would seem that the only options you have would be to either find a way to test the card to make sure you didn't damage...

Did noone read what I wrote? The drivers listed that they used were 174.53. These are not quad sli drivers. The drivers to enable quad sli will be released tomorrow. http://www.fudzilla.com/index....=view&id=6435&Itemid=1 As soon as the drivers are made available I'll do some benches...

Well there are two possible theorys here based on the fact that you did not have this issue prior to you overclock attempt 1) the the card has not returned to stock settings thus it is still producing increased heat/load 2) that in your overclock attempt you somehow damaged the card and or...

What I think is funny is that they are using the 174.53 drivers which don't support quad-sli. Maybe they should have waited until they got proper drivers before posting the review.

It sounds like that you aren't actually back to stock settings even though it says you are. Uninstall ATItools and then uninstall the driver. Some may suggest to use driver cleaner also. Then re-install the drivers.

New Forceware 174.70 Drivers

Essentially these drivers were to add support for the 9800gtx and also fix some bugs with the gx2. I won't say much more than that becuase new drivers should come out tomorrow to enable quad sli and it won't be these drivers. I know becuase I've got 2 gx2's. Man I hope the new quad sli...
