MSI K7T Turbo: Problems starting up..

I'm running the MSI K7T Turbo with a 850 TBird. I too had cold boot problems when I ran it at 133 FSB until I connected all the cut bridges on L7 (which sets default Vcore to maximum). Since doing this, I've had no cold boot problems at all. I'm currently running at 1005 MHz (7.5 x 134). If...

Tbird 750@950 95F/36C at full load, can't hit 1GHZ, that all I got?

I know that wall well. My 750 Tbird will operate WinMe fine up to 972 MHz but yields Prime 95 errors at any speed above 935 MHz. I unlocked my Tbird with Circuit Works conductive pen and at 935MHz runs 32C idle and 34C load with FOP38 running 1.85 Vcore. My motherboard is a MSI K7T Pro2A.:(

MSI k7t pro 2A--running at 133 fsb, can any one confirm?

I need some help with my A7V..

If other suggestions given do not work, check your motherboard manual for instructions on resetting the bios. I believe there are contacts on the motherboard that have to be shorted to accomplish this. Several monthes ago, I put together an A7V that had a similiar problem and I was only able...

Problems with boot up on Asus A7V Motherboard

If you have bios 1005B, set boot virus scan to "enabled". I just flashed my A7V to this bios and it would not boot to ATA 100 drive with the virus scan disabled. If using another bios, you might reset the bios to default settings and give it a try. Good luck.

Pro2-A problem? Please help! I'm desperate!!

The jumper is marked JBAT1 and location/instructions are shown on page 2-4 of your K7T Pro2-A manual. Please read the important note at the bottom of the page. Your computer must be powered down completely before reseting the bios, this includes unplugged from the wall socket. Good luck. DLF

Pro2-A problem? Please help! I'm desperate!!

My MSI K7T Pro2A did the same thing when I first installed it. Powered up and everything started. I removed the board thinking I had shorted the board in mounting, reinstalled the board, reinstalled the switch, speaker, reset, etc. and powered it up and it came on again. I powered it down...
