    sorry i can't help you with this 22" model, but i bought a 15" vga in 2001 that ran forever, no bad pixels or other problems. Funny thing is that the 15" i bought 5yrs ago cost almost $100 more than this 22" you have the link to. I wouldn't have any probs with buying another KDS.

    Canon G7 are excellant camera's...just be forewarned that they do not have Image Stabilization...this may or may not matter to you. the G7 is a Point & Shoot camera a pro would use if he didn't want to lug around a lot of gear...
