Problems Installing Smoothwall Express 2.0

I've started installing Smoothwall Express 2.0 on a IBM PR233 (187.5Mhz) with 32Mb PC66 and a 1.7Gb drive. Detects both of my nic's. I get to change the 3 sets of passwords and then it finishes and wants to restart. Restart it and it won't let me login with the passwords I changed. Tried...

HELP: How to create Win98SE startup disk on CD

I used WinISO v5.1 It lets you make a bootable ISO image from a floppy. Then just burn the image and you have a win98se startup CD.

Which Athlon XP Overclocks Better? 2000, 2100, or 2200?

I had a XP 2000+ that overclocked well 170fsb x12 multi [AIUHB 0317] @ 1.70V Got the chip from AMD. Had to RMA directly with AMD

An overclock for difficulty instead of max speed (K6-2)

I have a K6-2 500 in an old Asus Super 7 board. I can set the FSB to 50 - 66 - 75 - 83 - 95 - 100 - 112 - 124 - 133. The hightest multiplier is 5.5. Using 128Mb Micron/Crucial PC133 CL3. Fast for an old box at 124x5=620Mhz but not 100% stable. Used it at 133x4.5=598.5Mhz for about 6 months...

Just wired red LED's into my case

Looks pretty good. Is it just one LED at front at one LED by the PSU? If so they sure are bright compared to the LED's I got in my case

Southbridge Heatsink

I bought the Vantec Copper Chipset Cooling Kit and it came with the heatsink/fan for the northbridge and a passive copper heatsink for the southbridge. I used Arctic Silver Epoxy to affix it on the southbride. Attaching a southbridge heatsink will void your warranty. I did it just for looks...

Best AMD H/S

I use the Thermalright SLK947-U and a 92mm Panaflo H1A @ 9V The SLK947-U doesn't fit lots of boards though as it needs quite a bit of room around the CPU socket. It is a bolt on, not a clip. Thermalrights website says that it won't fit on the Abit NF7-S v2.0, but it does. It fits my NF7-S...

This Someone from my work was telling me he was getting one of these. I've never heard of such a thing. Reminds me of the of the adapters you could get to upgrade your 486 to use a Pentium 133

Best Thermal Grease

On my setup I haven't noticed any difference when I switched from Arctic Silver 3 to Arctic Silver 5. I'd use what you got left for AS3, before buying anything else.
