Giving this a bit more reading, I may be leaning a bit toward Windforce one (simply because it's $10 cheaper, but that's really not a factor), and as I understand the two cards (Gaming and Windforce) are nearly identical and most see them as the same card. Am I wrong? In any case, thank you...

Powerline Adapter issues with new on-board NIC

Yeah, it seems that you are correct. WiFi works flawlessly so far. Perhaps the new NIC is more sensitive to wire disturbance, or perhaps the sheer wattage that was added to the adjacent grid prevented it from working.

That was my next attempt as well, thank you guys. The comp is quite heavy and a router is kind of inaccessible easily, so I wanted to avoid this. So this morning I moved the comp and connected directly to the router. Works. So, to close this off, if someone could answer the following...
