Western Digital VelociRaptor sale date?

Got my 4 VelociRaptors Weds from newegg $299 each and installed one in each rig, and saved the last two for my new build that will have two GTX 280s. I have noticed a big diff in performance over my 150Gb Raptor X drives.

9800GX2, 9800GTX or something else?

I have two 9800GX2s and the quad sli drivers that are out now suck. I only scored 12,786 in quad sli.I removed one card and ran it a 2nd time.This time i scored 18,198 which is a decent score for a GX2

Liquid Cooling Help

I go by what i get out of them after i mod them a little. At 4Ghz 30c underload is not bad at all. I had one of their older Freezones on a e6850 and had temps in the single digits. Even with a QX6850 at stock speed temps were only 14c-12c-12c-10c. Then i bumped it up to 4GHz and was only at 30c...

I still belive the Elite would be best for him if he's only planing on cooling his processor. Its easy to install and no maintence at all.

Which PSU brands are best?

I own two Silverstone 1200w with 90 amps on a single rail.Even running TRI - SLI did not slow down this beast at all. It also powers a 12TEC Boreas chiller / 4-140mm fans @ 3000 rpms / 4 HDDs / and two Lite On 20X DVD burners,plus a ram fan and theres still plenty of power to spare.

Strange Temps on Core Quad Q6600
