Apple 1080p trailers, what do you need to play them?

Mine was stangely playing choptastic...then I realized I was doing a lot in Post Processing (last time I used the video codec)...so I turned Post Processing off. Works much better but still drops frames and looses audio sync. Using media player classic, wmp11, VLC and virtualdub *shrugs*
