How do I get rid of BF1942 intro movie?

You can also alter the command line in the shortcut to: "C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\Battlefield 1942\BF1942.exe" +restart 1 This will bring you straight to the menu.

Kt7A athlon XP

I have a KT7A v1.1, and it wasn't real happy with an XP1800+. I flashed the A9 bios, installed the 1800 and reset the CMOS. Everything boots up fine, but it dies after 5-10 minutes of any significant load, and occasionally after 15-20 minutes of low stress work. Rebooting after it dies results...

Video quality w/ a switchbox

Thanks, all. For grins I tried dropping to 1024x768 and it looked much better ghost-wise, however that resolution looks too grainy on my PF790. Guess I'll check out an electronic box. Belkin has one that also switches audio, and that would be a plus. Steve

Video quality w/ a switchbox

Tonight I hooked up multiple windows systems with a cheap mechanical 4-to-1 KVM switchbox. Everything works OK but the video has fairly bad ghosting on all connected systems. I'm using allegedly good quality shielded vid cables on all systems. I do like having the switch instead of 3x KVM like...

Screen Flashing with Geforce 2 Pro, only with 11.xx drivers and up.

I had a similar problem and it drove me crazy for a while. Screen flashes plus some monitor synch problems in older D3D games. What I did to fix it was download a new INF file for my monitor from the manufacturer's site. Installed it and everything runs great. I've now used 12.90 and 21.81...

Asus 7700 Deluxe/PF790 Problem

I am having trouble updating drivers for my vid card. Currently using Asus 6.31c, which work fine. When I try updating to any Asus or Det drivers of version 11.x/12.x/14.x/21.x I get a bunch of problems with Direct X games. In particular: High Heat 2001 - Menu corruption and some in-game...
