My PC was functional but the PSU was loud and the computer would only boot when it was laying on the side. I think the problem with the PC only booting when it was lying on its side was that the CPU heatsink was not screwed on tight enough, so it would come loose and prevent the CPU from...
I built a PC a couple of years ago and it was working fine but I wanted to upgrade my video card. I ended up getting a bigger case so that the new card would fit and I also got a new CPU cooler (since the stock one died).
After moving everything to the new case and installing the CPU cooler...
Any other thoughts or comments? I will be ordering the parts tomorrow and want to be sure.
I have heard that nvidia offers better compatibility than ati in the past, I'm not sure if this is true however.
