It must be something like that... it must be recognizing a different hardware. Maybe the OC is making Vista think it's a different mobo somehow. I will try again tonight & check out what CPU-Z says; I didn't think of that last night because I was scared that running in "unlicensed mode" meant...

I scaled-back my OC and reinstalled Vista, but I'm still having the problem with the control panel. Don66, just to confirm... when you run DXDiag, your DDI version says 10? My DX VERSION is 10, but the DDI version is reporting 9ex... Anyway, I guess I'll hope someone else comes up with...

DDI Version in Vista

I'm running an 8800GTX in Vista (32), but the DDI version is reporting 9ex, not 10. I have tried scaling-back my overclock and reinstalling Vista, but that does not help. I have the latest video and chipset drivers, but nothing gets it to report DDI version 10. Am I missing something? Any...

P5N32-E-SLI memory errors... suggestions?

I also had some nVidia driver problems: 1) v15 of the 680i chipset drivers AND the video card drivers were corrupting my Vista control panel. I think I solved this recently after I re-downloaded & re-installed v15 of the chipset. 2) My 8800GTX says it's running DDI version 9ex in my dxdiag...

I have the same MOBO/RAM combo, and I'm getting the same max bandwidth @ 400MHz. Is this the way it's supposed to be? My timings are 533, 5, 5, 5, 15, 30, 2T (manually set). I've also found that setting "SLI Ready Memory" to anything over 0% creates instability. Also, in running Vista...
