Upgrading 2 dell and a gateway from xphome to Pro

Any insight on the printer sharing issue (they don't share files across the network at atll). He was successfully printing to a shared a printer connected to the desktop from his Gateway laptop wirelessly, and then it just stopped working. Always the error "Not sufficient privileges". Giving...

Upgrading 2 dell and a gateway from xphome to Pro

My friend has a dell laptop and desktop and one gateway laptop that all came with xp Home. He's having all kinds of printersharing problems, and we decided to just upgrade these machines to XP Pro. My question is, will the OEM version version work with the OS that came with these machines...

3rd Party ink for Epson R320?

Just got the epson r320 printer for cd printing. So far, it works very well. Is anyone using 3rd party ink with this printer or it's younger brothers the r200 (220, 300) successfully, with quality results and no clogging? If so, from where? dot.

Dell 9300 Laptop has DVI + Vga output -> Total of 3 monitors possible?

is the 9400 the only current model with dvi out, or are there others?. I just bought a 2405 lcd, and I need dvi. The analog from my 8500 doesn't look the best. dot.

Laptop with dvi out

I just bought a dell 2405 and my inspiron 8500 can't be upgraded to dvi. What dells have dvi video out or another reliable workhorse that could drive this lcd digitally. Thanks. dot.

inspiron 8500 and dvi

I've got an inspiron 8500 with an NVIDIA GeForce4 4200 Go that only has vga. i just bought the dell 2405 lcd and wondered if I could replace the card with one that supported dvi video. Does anyone know if that upgrade is possible?

Unable to enter bios

i guess I am a little new at this. i need to get into the bios because I fiddled around earlier with enabling and disabling the primary and secondary drives, and now my cdrw doesn't respond. How do you reset the bios? Where exactly is that cmos battery? Thanks for the help.

Unable to enter bios

All of a sudden i cannot get into the bios at startup. Well actually i get into it, but my keyboard at that point doesn't function. Arrow keys don't work, nothing. I also seem to notice a keyboard failure message quickly just before entering. I've tried several different keyboards, usb and ps2...
