That's the reason... enabling Enhanced Halt State throttles the CPU multiplier based on the load factor on the CPU. It's enabled for energy savings. If you disable it, then the CPU will be run just at the max multiplier that the CPU is designed for.

Well, the difference between a Rev 1 and a Rev 2 board is just the sound chip.
The Rev 1 uses ALC888 Realtek Audio.
The Rev 2 uses ALC662 Realtek Audio.
You can use a free program like Speccy to find out, or if you have good eyes, look at the actual chip on the motherboard.

Did you clear the cmos after you flashed the board with the new bios? If you don't do that, then the board won't properly detect the 2x2 (happened to me).
Also, try putting in just 1 stick, boot it up... see if it recognizes that stick ok. If ok, then, shut down the computer and then add...
I knew somebody who had a 4CoreDualSata-2 board, and they removed the Northbridge heatsink on their board and apparently their Via PT880 chip had printed on it 'Pro' and not Ultra... so?! not sure what to make of that....
Thank you nightspydk for getting back to me (re: 4gb & hardware reserved). My pcie video card has 512mb onboard, so yes, that would fit into the equation of the 3.24Gb physical memory that shows up on my system as being recognized (out of the 4Gb installed).

Well it reads 3327MB for me. And if I go in AIDA64 Extreme edition (v. 2.85.2400), into "Motherboard" then "Chipset" it shows: DRAM Slot 1: 2GB .... and... DRAM Slot 2: 1280 MB (which totals 3.280, which is what it should total roughly)
