With a $250 - $300 budget any receommendations? Needs to be as good as bose qc15 and qc 3 in regards to noise cancelling in any case.

Totally understood, but what about in the case your SSD doesnt support TRIM. Like mine. Windows 7 supports it and it is switched on (whilst doing fsutil - even though my convential hard disk laptop also has it switched on for some bizare reason?). But my actual drive doesnt have TRIM. So I was...

The only reason I did it was because I read a post on another forum with exactly the same question and around 140 replies with people giving their opinion and not even answering the original question. It was epic. However, your absoultely right... My apologies.

Guys, I've done too many hours reading on this subject and I really cant spend any more time. My eyes are totally burnt.. I've come to the conclusion that TRIM is necessary otherwise you lose performance (ok yes). If your drive doesnt support it and there is no firmware to follow. Can...

Virtulisation.

I've finally freed up a server for testing purposes (64bit) I've played with Hyper-V now time to have a look at ESXi... the G7 server should be with me in about 3 weeks :) Any other virtulisation products to try or to play with before the final big decision..? Thanks again folks..
