Opera 9.5 is out...

Works fine here. Tried with clean install? Sometimes Opera can get bit weird if you install it on top of older versions many times.

IE7 in Vista - New window for each zone?

Protected Mode is a sandbox for IE. It limits certain things like where IE can write/read etc. More info at http://blogs.msdn.com/ie/archive/2006/02/09/528963.aspx

There is no way to disable UAC for one program only, it's either on or off.

Zalman ZM-STG1. It is just weird that on the other hand my idle temps are much lower, around 30 celsius while before they were 36 celsius.

Hi all I read somewhere that the temps of a cpu drop few celsius after around 7-8 days after thermal grease is applied. Is this true? I'm just wondering because I switched my cpu to a new mb and the load temps seems around 4-6 celsius higher than before. ( from 42 -> 48 celsius with...

Well if we take how it looks like then Windows 7 is gonna be almost excatly like Vista :roll: M1 is premilinary build of Windows 7 which, suprise suprise (..not), is being built on the vista codebase so everything we see should be held as a placeholders. We will know for certain what kernel...

Just checked defrag.exe, it reads only Microsoft Corp. for me.

Faster internet with Vista?

If it is within the limits of your internet speed then yeah, it is possible seeing that vista has a new tc/ip stack that ms claims to improve network performance. Though personally haven't seen any improvements except for a lower ping in online games. Of course, if it is going faster than...

It is quite likely heavily based on the Diskeeper version but all the improvements that are added to it are now done by MS themselves.

The file is WAND.DAT and it is in the Opera AppData-folder if you installed Opera with multiple user support(Vista "USER"\AppData\Roaming\Opera\profile, XP Documents and Settings\"USER"\Application Data\Opera\profile), otherwise in the folder where you installed it. You can just copy it around...

InstallShield Wizard doesn't work properly

InstallShield Wizard doesn't allow patching any of my games because it doesn't see that they are installed. It just tells me that I don't have the game installed and that I need to install it. Is there anyway to fix this? It wouldn't be nice not to be able to patch my games :( (Tried patching...

Err...I so did not want to see that list. It is little scary to notice that I drank so much beer in 4 days that only 20 coutries beat me by their average...and they had whole year to do so :Q
