I went ahead and ran the test and everything checked out great! I've seen a few ram this "cheap" before with 40+ dollar rebates. It's nice to be able to buy ram for that price without having to deal with the rebates!!! Things checked out great on the memtest86+ so that is an added bonus...

Intel Computer setup

With some of the suggestions, it may free up another 100 - 200. One other area of "question" is in regards to the CPU. The E8400 looks to be an impressive CPU. Are there any other choices out there within the 100 - 200 dollar range of the E8400 that would be a better choice? Quad Core CPU better...
