Unless you were a resident of Henrico County, you wouldn't've gotten one, so everyone who feels like he/she missed out can relax. The county decided that only county residents would be eligible when they heard that people were preparing to fly out from across the country.
Yes, I live in...
I got a PM with a couple of good questions on things I didn't cover completely in my Muvo2 mini-review, so I'm going to post the answers here in addition to the reply I sent, so others can use them to help determine if this is the mp3 player they want. :)
Folders, navigation, and playlists...
The battery life alone should be incentive to buy one instead of an iPod mini (8+ hour battery life rating for the iPod vs. 16+ hour battery life VERIFIED for the Muvo2). The sound quality is very good, even with cheap headphones. It's extremely light, very comfortable in a pocket. Plays mp3s...
I got mine the day before Thanksgiving (Outpost.com sale), plugged it in to charge it up, familiarized myself with it throughout the day, then left it plugged in overnight. On Thanksgiving day, I started it up at about 10:30 a.m. and left it playing songs all day.
The battery finally died...
Handy timing. I was just looking for a portable HDD-based mp3 player earlier this morning. Thank you. :)
Just a note: the rebate link on the product page is dead at the moment. Have to use the option to have it snail-mailed to you.

Some better-than-public-education-system reading comprehension classes would probably help, too, since he apparantly missed the "chuckle-maker" comment continuing the practical joke innuendo.
Thanks. Great timing for me, as my clan's been playing a lot of CoD:UO and I haven't been able to get in on the fun. Now I won't have to blow a wad to get in on the action. :)
Thanks for the heads-up, LordThing. I'd been meaning to call about this for some time, but kept forgetting about it until I saw this thread.
Called yesterday at about 4:15 p.m., finished the call before 4:25 p.m. CSR was quite pleasant, speed upgrade was approved (from 768/128 to 1.5/384) in...
I like this. It's out of my reach, at least for now, but a mATX cube-style case is definitely worth looking at. Especially with mATX nF2 boards available. I'll have to save up my pennies. :)
Never happen. The government makes money off this system, too (referring to the taxes you pay on an item, but never receive back after a rebate), and they're not about to cut off a source of free revenue.
