Video Editing Software Advice

Another vote for Vegas. I use discreet edit* and Final Cut Pro at work, but it's Vegas all the way at home. Premiere is way too freaking slow for me.

Is there a program that will remove the voices from a mp3 file?

The winamp one kinda sounds like ass. It's just pulling out the frequencies, which affects the background music as well. It makes it sound pretty distorted and crappy. I tried it on a couple of different tracks. Haven't tried the first one yet.

Can someone help me with BF1942!!!!

Actually, could be the sound card too. I know some of the Soundblasters have problems with the game. I have a Turtle Beach and never had problems, so I can't speak from experience. You might try disabling the sound card. What graphics card? What resolution/settings are you trying to run at?

RAID problem with my 8k9A2+

Warcraft III campaign question - Orc Campaign

I just beat that one last night. Build a lot of towers at first. If you can fight off the first wave you have some time to kill. Get a lot of peons mining and don't worry about wood. Build some Wolfriders to Snare the flying stuff they send your way. Don't worry about Kodo beasts or shamans...

Recommendations for a Graphic Design computer??

I appreciate all the responses. I think I am going to go with a single processor and most likely an Intel. He will probably be doing some Maya/3d studio max work as well. I realize that to completely utilize these programs you would have to build a really expensive setup. But he just needs...
