I got a PF790, not new more than year old, usually run my resolution at 1280 by 1024 on my voodoo3 3000, had it on 60 hertz, never really thought much about it, until one day i put it higher. Every resolution and hertz setting except 60 hertz would make the lower right hand corner...

Thought i left those when i left windows 98, but doesn't seem like it, for the past couple of days i have gotten a nice variety of blue screens ranging from: IO System Verification Error WDM Driver Error 207 IRQL_Not_Less_or_Equal *.sys file has used too much memory or something like that...

ATI Radeon

"$87 ATI Radeon, Feb 6 New egg.com has the OEM 32MB DDR ATI Radeon for $87.99 w/ free shipping. TextThis card is slower than the retail Radeon." Just copied that off techb@rg@ins; out of my dumb curiosity, how is that possible? I thought OEM and Retail were pretty much the same...

Windows 2000 Professional Blue Screen Crashes

I have Windows 2000 Professional and once in a while i get a blue screen crash stating "This Process has locked pages", or something to that extent, it doesn't happen often, but when it does i'm either starting a video game or a web browser window, does any one know what that means...

MSI K7T Pro2-A Bios

I recently flashed the bios to the beta one with the wider range of vcore settings, but it seems it took away my DRAM timing settings in Advanced Chipset Features. Has anyone come across this problem also? And if so do you know how to fix it? Thanks in advance...

Hedgehog Heatsink, Suck air or blow air?

Just because i'm really petty, this is quoted from the Kanie Hedgehog Copper Heatsink Handling Manual; "Then fix the aluminum cover and set fan for sucking. (If you want to set fan for blowing, take off aluminum cover.)" :o
