Renaming user folder after windows repair

I recently performed a windows repair. This created user folder names in the Documents and Settings folder that I'd like to change. I've tried renaming the user folder but Windows simply creates a new user folder with the old name. I need help with making Windows use the folder or folder name...

Merge file w/registry on different drive

My friend's Windows XP home keeps getting a BSOD as windows starts to load. I found a MS page that states that my problem is from the new MB having a different ide controller and I am told to merge a .reg file with the registry. I can't do this because windows doesn't load. Is there anyway to...

Is there a place to download or get a Windows XP Home CD or iso to use to attempt to repair windows? I only have the Pro version and if I try to use it the repair option doesn't appear.

Free Mach Speed P4 Motherboard after rebate.

I guess only tcsenter looked at the rebates. These are not Tiger rebates, they are Mach Speed rebates. I haven't had any trouble with Mach Speed rebates. It's probably a cheap/older board but it's probably just fine if someone needs an mATX board for cheap. Thanks DrEldarion EDIT: You...
