Best budget GPU for F@H?

I picked up my PNY 8800GT from the egg a few weeks ago for $119 shipped. It cranks out about 4450ppd. Unless you're getting the other cards much cheaper, I'm not sure you'll find a better ppd/$ card.

GPU folding results

I went from my XFX 8600GT XXX running ~1450ppd to my PNY 8800GT and now I'm at ~4500ppd. This is on the 177.79 drivers on 32 bit XP Pro. Probably the best $120 upgrade I could've done for folding.

I just jumped on this today. It's a lot cheaper than building a new system since I don't have to buy 2GB of DDR2 this way.

Rosetta: Top RAC Systems on the TeAm as of 3 Feb 2007

I need to upgrade my CPU. My Athlon 64 3200+ has an RAC of only 262.20. Maybe the Opty 170's will get cheap enough that I can afford one soon.

Thanks for the welcome guys. I got tired of running SETI, so I jumped over to Rosetta since it is a more practical project. Currently have 2 A64 3200+ machines and 1 P4 2.8 running. I'll lose the P4 in about two weeks, but it will be crunching 24/7 till then.
