Blame it on ATI's marketing dept. Both the 8500/9100 are supposedly much better than the 9200! So, they had to pull the old cards so the 9200 would be their lowest end model. Tricky stuff :)
Ok, is 41.89 to Arizona. I had to logout of my Yahoo account to see the shipping cost. If you are already logged into your Yahoo account, won't show the shipping charges.. weird.
Um, is there no way to see what the actual total cost would be (with shipping) without completing the transaction to buy? I hate sites that want the CC # before saying the total shipped cost. *sigh*
I spoke with a BB employee yesterday. He claims this was a "2 day clearance" sale because BB overstocked on these. There were a bunch of these on the shelf yesterday but at the lame loser price of $99.

The ST380013A drives are the Barracuda 7200.7 drives. They are NOT "as quiet" as the Barracuda IVs. Nothing to date is as quiet as the Barracuda IVs unless someone proves me wrong. :)
You can try but they usually go with what the computer comes up with when they punch in the SKU. I've tried this before on other items which were on sale in the Bay Area without success. :(
Fry's does not have "national" advertising like OM, BB, etc. What a shame.
Yep, as the weeks go by, I keep hating the Phoenix Fry's more and more. The Bay Area gets most of the hot deals... Arizona Fry's Electronic stores suck.
Amen to that! They cell companies already charge a fortune for wireless service, might as well use as much LD as possible on them. Also, too freakin bad the local telcos make us choose a primary LD carrier. I wonder if I can disable LD from my home altogether? Because even if you don't call...
