Thanks, that's a good link. However, with my current ISP service at 30mbs down and 2mbs up, would I see any benefit of the 86U over the 68U for what I'm going to use it for? I'm a beginner here!

PoE switch replacement

Question on CAT5 and RJ45

Maximum HD storage

I use a WD Purple 4tb HD as storage for video management software. I have read where it is not advisable to completely fill up a HD. How close can I go to the total available space with his drive?

Kaby lake compatibility

You make a good point and normally I'm in the second group on this kind of thinking. Good power supplies are not that expensive so I think it makes good sense to not take a chance. I'm going to just get new PS that will be good for another 5 years at least. Thanks a bunch for your ideas.

Kingston SSD V300

I've got the 850 EVO in a computer I use for my security camera server and it screams. I just don't need any speed in the laptop and that's what got me interested in the Kingston (and the price of course).

Thanks for the replys. They apparently have made some changes in this drive since it was originally offered, and based on some of the comments I've read it is not as fast, but does still seem to be reliable. I'm willing to accept that considering the price but I just don't want to get anything...
