ATI vs. NVidia

Not terribly concerned with overclocking to amazing speeds, just want a steady/reliable/excellent card. My computer would probably blow up if I tried OC'ing.

ps2 vs xbox

I have a PS2, b/c I'm not real dependant on online games. Both have a similar selection, it all depends on whether or not would want xbox live... PS2 IMO has a better selection of games.

Sorry, you guys probably have half a million posts like this each day... my current build is : MSI K8T800 NEO-FISR AMD 64 3000+ ATI Radeon 9700 Pro 1 GB Corsair XMS My dad is using some integrated graphics card on his computer and is interested in buying my 9700 pro for kinda cheap...

My processor is an AMD 64 3000+ 754 socket...... should I just go with something like ASUS K8N-E DELUXE ATX AMD Motherboard for a cheap $112......?
