True, true. Option 3 would be to modify it for a 16:9 or 16:10 panel, but then I loose a lot of the classic look.

While cleaning out my father-in-laws this past weekend, I was bequeathed with an old (1994) Mac Performa 550.
It still fires up and runs ok on OS 7.6, but while neat, that has limited enjoyment.
So I'm thinking of gutting it, retrofitting it with an LCD and itx mobo and a fair amount of HD...

I am thinking of moving from my Apple TV to a Dell Zino HD to allow for a more robust HTPC. However, I plan to keep using iTunes as my primary source for renting movies, etc, and want to make sure that I have a solution to view my movies and control playback from the comfort of my couch.

I had this happen, unplugged the cord from the USB header and boom, worked fine. Give that a try....
Not a great long term solution though, I figure I'm going to end up replacing this board with another...
