Upgrading from a GTX670

Oh wow, that's awesome. Thanks for the advice! I think I'll keep the 670 at least until June, and then reasses with the release of ATI's next line. If I can get decent performance out of W3, then honestly I'm probably set for the rest of 2015. There aren't many games coming out this year...

Upgrading from a GTX670

I want to play Witcher 3, and the 670 is scraping the bottom of the barrel it would seem when ti comes to W3. I'm also interested in GTAV (waiting for steam sale this summer), MGSV, and Star Wars Battlefront. But I also want to get an oculus rift, and I'm worried about the 3.5GB memory issue...

I don't upgrade GPUs that often, but I feel like it is nearing time. I currently have a GTX670, and it is starting to show it's age. I don't like buying the top-of-the-line model (such as the 980/titan), as I think the bang per buck is too low. With that in mind, my choices seem to be between...

Diablo III, better on PC or Console?

Diablo 3 was made for consoles, so naturally I would assume that's the better version.

Dragon Age 3: Inquisition announced

They definitely put more effort into DA:I than DA2, so I don't think it could be any WORSE than DA2. A demo of DA:I would certainly help me pick up the game. Most of the complaints I hear are with the controls, so I'd like to try them myself.

Gaming industry in creative slump?

I kind of know what you mean. AAA Western games all kind of feel like one another at this point. None of them really get me excited or interested anymore. That said, there are a ton of games out there. I've enjoyed quite a few these past years, and am looking forward to more in the future...

I haven't played DA:I yet - I was worried it would be another DA2. I'm waiting a couple of months for communal opinion to settle, and then I'll go search out opinion that I feel I would potentially agree with. The things you say don't make it sound that promising :(
