trouble with new plextor 40x

thnx, does anyone know how to fix the problem where plextor keeps rejecting my cd-r's? and does anyone know why i get that error message when i try up upgrade the firmware on my plextor? thnx again, -Dunks

trouble with new plextor 40x

i got a plextor 40/12/40A recently, and i've been having some problems with it. i use nero 5.8 *whatever the number of the newest one is*, and when i try to copy/burn a cd, it gives me an error message saying that the cd-r is not empty and that i should insert a new disk that is...

How to change RcvWindow?

about those speedguide patches and tweaks in the registry... i've tried them all!!! (well..all those that apply to my system) but after doing that speedguide test again...NADDA...no change AT ALL!!! still getting REALLY low bandwith due to my REAL low rcvwindow... gotta try that other site...

DOH...can't find any progs that show my cpu temp

ehhh... ok...i got it...but... it says Sensor 1, 2, 3 all of them are at 0 degrees? WHA???

DOH...can't find any progs that show my cpu temp

could u guys gimmie some URL's to some reliable progs that will tell me the temp of my cpu my 800 is really pissing me off....it is REALLY unstable...even at 900 at 1.8volts on Tribes 2 i'm pretty sure its my CPU...unless its my Graphix card but still....before my last format...i had it...

Speed resets after O/C??

i use conductive Pen... and i got a 300W power supp....not sure if its qualified or wuteva to run AMD chips....dunno so u suggest i bump the power down a bit to 1.7 sumthing? hrmm...anyways....i got my 800 @ 927 rite now....103 X 9... heheh..wish i cuold get to 1 gig...but jes won't go any...

ok...i'm having some trouble wif my overclocking... i got a AMD T-bird 800 @ 900 rite now it is 100 X 9...cos when i try to change the fsb...it jes goes haywire (dunno why...even though i got 1st party ram) anyways....thats not my point....my main point is...sumtimes when i come back from...

o/c'ing a HSF'less graphix card?

em...i gotta new question now... my Creative GeForce2 MX didn't come with a HSF.... how high would u reccomend i oc the core? it came at 175...and i was wondering if i should oc the core more than 200? i set it to 210 now... my memory frequency is set to 340 i beleive....and it goes haywire...
