Starcraft Broodwar at 1024 x 768???

No way, SC = 640x 480. Can't you use a window for the game and keep the res at 1024?

why does diablo ii access the hard drive like crazy????????

Diablo 2 backup

There you can also find a no-CD crack, which allows you to play the game completely from your HD, so that you can store your CD's in a safe and scratchfree place. You'll need a full install.

OMFG!!!! THE UNREAL ONE PATCH IS OUT!!

I installed it, not better. On my humble P2 300/128MB/TNT1 (OC'ed slightly) det 2.08 (by far the fastest driver for a TNT1 IMO) timedemo 1 on the fly by (second cycle, 1024x768x32, everything high) dropped from 22 to 19.

Isn't that number wrong? I mean, 4.20 is out for months now. New UT-patches are published here: http://unreal.epicgames.com/ However, the new patch, whatever its number, isn't out as I write this.

z2

Don't know about Z2, but Z1 was fun but flawed in gameplay; once one party had an advantage, the other would almost always loose. Fun to play though, so I am interested in Z2.

No Spawning in Diablo 2 - anyone else pissed?

I applied that no-CD patch mentioned by Chrisl, in the hope that gameplay would be less choppy. No luck, still choppy, patch works perfect though (requires to copy the music files from CD to HD) so this might be interesting to others. I still do not understand why a game with such graphics is...
