Since the server has been up and working and the problem is with the temporary CALs expiring I believe that the server has been registered. I really appreciate your help in trying to find the registry keys which need to be modified to get the server to continue issuing temporary CALs

I actually did try this and it did not work, but I did manage to resolve the issue eventually. The resolution was to go back into DVD Genie and change the region settings for power DVD. This did the trick. I find this whole problem REALLY strange.
I just got power DVD and t worked great. Awesome quality and it works well with the SBLive! enabling digital output to an eternal Dolby Digital decoder.
I also got DVD Genie and not being able to leave well enough alone had to go and try to force harware acceleration. Now Power DVD no longer...
I had nothing but problems with the ATI DVD player under win98 se. The player decoded the DVDs terribly with some color distortion and generally poor image quality, it takes up more CPU time than other DVD software and it will not properly pass along AC-3 audio to the spdif port on my sb live...
