I've been looking for a good solution for carrying my heavy mid-tower and 28" monitor. What would be ideal is some sort of strap that goes around my tower that I can leave there while having a fully functional PC so I can leave it on all the time.
I'm also looking for an easy way to...
Oh, and by bottom intake vent I meant the fan mount on the bottom side of the case, right next to where the PSU sits. Not the one that blows onto the hard drives.
I recently purchased the Fractal R3 case and an Antec TrueQuiet 120mm fan to install onto the bottom intake vent. I love the case, but the fan I installed constantly makes a noise because it's rubbing against the dust filter. Do all fans have this problem, and has anyone figured out a way to...
I'm actually not too picky about the "flashy" thing. I just can't stand cases that light up like the Vegas strip. I'm not showing off my computer to anyone, and it's right next to me when I sleep. I used to have a case that was lit up like crazy and it was like sleeping with the lights on.
I do like the Fractal R3 from what I've seen. Cases have come a far way since I last bought one (4 years ago?). I really like the designs where there's lots of grommets on the motherboard tray for cable management. I'll probably take this list of cases to my local Microcenter and take a look...
I'm sick of getting all these flashy-looking cases because they look cool. I'm now on a quest to find the most practical case for my needs that has a professional look and feel.
I need a case that fits the following requirements:
- One 5.25" external drive bay
- At least 6 HDD/SSD bays

Just an update...
I kind of stopped swimming :x
but on the upside, my dieting has lost me 11 lbs already!
I haven't cut anything completely out of my diet, I just try to not eat past when I'm full. I also stay away from things that are obviously terrible for me (I get brocolli or...
Not to question your accuracy, but has there been any conclusive, scientifically backed studies that have shown adverse long-term (or short term) side-effects from drinking artificial sweeteners?
Kipper, first off, thank you for all of your very in-depth advice and feedback.
Short term goals are a very good idea. I guess I have had them but never formalized them. I suppose doing that would be a good form of motivation and a way to make sure I stay on track.
I'm 5'9".
Hi all, just here to provide an update.
I've been swimming as normal (though I missed one day :x ) and I've been eating healthier. At work I drink two cups of tea with 1 half & half and a splenda. I still have a diet soda with my lunch, but I've been eating a cup of coup & salad or a turkey...
Thanks for the tip. Maybe I'll try 2 laps freestyle 2 laps breast stroke, repeat. I'm not a great swimmer, so it's hard for me to control my speed when I'm doing freestyle. My body just wants to go fast (or maybe it's slow, who knows... but it's only one speed!). Breast stroke is nice and...
Thanks for all the advice, everyone.
Kipper (that's my uncle's dog's name! :D ), I've definitely concluded that trying to do too much at once can be too difficult. I've tried dieting before and failed because I attempted to workout 4 times a week at the gym when I used to not work out at all...
Right now I'm living with my aunt+uncle (I have a summer internship near where they live). I find that it's really tough to eat healthy because they're generous enough to let me eat their food, and sometimes they don't eat very healthy. During dinner I try to take large portions of veggies...
