The rental card is store specific and tied to a membership number. You can't use the card at different Blockbusters, and a friend can not use your rental card with their membership.
Maybe if you have not used it at all, then they may not have it locked down to a store/membership yet.
In California, there is supposed to be a law that prevents Blockbuster from requiring you to use up all 10 of your rentals in 10 consecutive weeks.
I found this out from a Blockbuster manager when I was asking them how many rentals I had left on my card from the Shrek deal.

I LOVE my ePod..
I use it a little less than when I first got it, but it still rocks... I think it was well worth the $200 investment.. I'd buy the eSlate too, if I could, but the bank account is hurting a bit, so I'll have to pass this time.
I'm using Dockware on the ePod for slideshows...

How did you get your ePods to work as a digital picture frame? I have one hacked to v2.04 and I use it for a GPS display in my car and to do my homework on. Wife uses it for her recipes too, but it would really kick butt if I could also have it display photos when not in...
Virgin Megastore in Anaheim at The Block had plenty of PS2's .. No XBox or Gamecubes, but when I asked for a PS2, the guy had to go to the other side of the store to get some.. he came back with at least 8 units on a hand cart and gave me one... I could have gotten more on my AMEX, but I...
They will pricematch online prices. Just print out the web page and fax it to them.. I've done it before and got a check for the difference from AMEX within a week after I faxed them my paperwork.
The higher capacity versions of the DC4800 batteries (ie. BT2) work in the built in charger as well.. I have charged up both my batteries and they both work in the camera charger.
Looking in other forums, I found info on compatible batteries.
Toshiba PDR-BT1, Fuji NP-80, and a Ricoh battery are identical in spec, and all work with the built in charger on the DC4800.
The Toshiba PDR-BT2 is a higher capacity battery (1300mah versus the 1100mah) than the battery supplied...
Awesome... I picked up my camera on my way home from work, and set it up to charge the battery before I left for class. Came home and it was all charged and ready to go..
When I walked in the store, I just showed them a printout of the online order, and they grabbed the camera from lockup. I...
Here is a warm deal on the Kodak 4800..
I had placed an order with PhotoAlley, but they are out of stock right now, so I was looking around and found a referal link for 20% off at Office Depot.
I looked around and found the Kodak for $599. With the 20% off, it came out to around $480 ($600 -...
What is the best deal for the Kodak DC4800 in California?
Photoalley charges tax for California, and without their $100 off $600, they are more expensive than other places. I checked my local Walmarts, and they don't have any in stock.
I was thinking about Buydig.com because they have it...
Bumping up so that others can see.
I think this is important, since it seems that other people are also getting double charges on their credit cards as well.
Bestbuy.com's system is pretty screwed up..
I $12.92 charge was for a DVD I had ordered. My order had 3 DVD's for a total of around $38.xx. I received them all in one box and got charged twice on my CC for $77.xx
They fixed it, but now they say that they originally only charged me $26.xx for...
