Emachines have dramatically improved in quality since new CEO took over. Recent PC World article based on consumer survey moved eMachine up from dead last to beat HP/Compaq and Gateway in both quailty and technical support (online and phone)

PDFCreator is a better answer for creating pdfs. Its OpenSource, so, its free, and will work with all applications, not just Office

6 good software titles, shipping only ($6.99)

The catch is that this all software that no one will buy. Its cheaper to ship it to you (especially when you pay for the shipping) than to dispose of it in a landfill

Thanks chuck2002 - PDFCreator is much better than PDFMailer. Will work great with FreeDist to stictch multiples together

Another choice which installs itself as a print dirver - and it seems to be compatable with more applications (MS Office, Peachtree, Quicken, etc) - is PDFMailer. Its very easy to use and install - important if you're supporting other people. Also, check out hte "printer" propery options...
