    Yeah at this point I'll probably just go with a single 8800xt. I'm not going to encourage abandoning the loyal customer by giving them more $$$$. Good advice though, if it wasn't a matter of principle for me.

    Now I bought an Abit at8 32x, a crossfire motherboard, and an 1800xt, and the only master card I could find over the last ~year is a refurbished one for $300. Now, I invested my money and loyalty in their product, and I'm left hung out to dry. I've got to say that I am completely unimpressed...

    replacing the heatsink on the x1800xt

    I slapped a VF900 on my 1800xt which I flashed to a PE, it is awesome. The benefit is that your computer won't sound like a jet engine, which makes it worth every penny. Every review I've seen has sung the praises of the VF900, and my personal experience affirms.

    nope, they were charging shipping on this deal... I checked my basket from yesterday, $6 shipping, emptied basket, re-added the product and voila, no shipping this time.. good deal, I'm finicky I wouldn't buy this for ~$30, but I'll buy it for $25 :)
