DX lens question

Interesting thread, but I think everybody missed the point that he has a film camera, with regular lenses (non DX) hence he should be able to use those lenses in a FF Nikon without any issues, correct? OR I'm confuse on this one? I though that old lenses are usable on either DX or FF, with the...

What do I need for Macro Pictures?

I have a D40x, with the 2 kit lenses, plus a Sigma 70-300 Macro, Nikon 50 1.8, Nikon 35-70, plus an inverter. Ordered extended tubes, but now I will like to know how do I put them together to start practicing Macro photography. Any help is really appreciate. Regards Eltano

Which DSLR - Canon XS for $499 (NEW) or Canon XSi for $549 (REFURB)?

Another vote and support for the D80. That is a good deal (not great, but good after all) and many more years to enjoy it. My two cents Eltano

love it, it's sooo fast to focus that I can't believed, I tested today from my office window to the parking and I can see the license of the cars that are far away with not problems. I made a great buy (for a newby like me). Now I need to look for a new Camera bag, to carry all my stuff...

996GT2, you are correct, I should have said 55/200, as you can see I'm a newby still. Best regards Eltano. PS: I bought the regular SIGMA, not the EPO, for lack of knowledge didn't think that the extra money would justify for what I will be using the lens.
